Compassionate Care Animal Cremation Servicing Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana
You and your pet should always receive top quality care when it comes to making end of life decisions. Large corporate owned facilities may feel transactional. As a small, privately owned facility, we are committed to treating each animal with the utmost care and reverence, and take time with each pet owner we serve. We recognize that pet loss is a deeply personal experience, and we strive to create a supportive and comforting experience.
Compassionate Animal Cremation Customized to Meet Your Needs

We have vehicles to transport small and large animals, like horses.
Compassion
Our team will ensure that our customers will feel that they can trust us with their loved one and treat them with dignity and care.
Flexible Options to Meet Anyone’s Needs
We recognize that cremation can be expensive. It is our duty to ensure that this isn’t a concern for our customers.
We understand the grief of losing a family pet. We treat your pet as if it were our own.
Compassionate Care Animal Cremation is a privately owned and family operated business. Each pet is assigned to one member of our team throughout the entire process to ensure quality of care and a consistent process. Every member on our team is a pet owner and animal lover, and thrive on spreading our love to your pet as we handle them.
Getting Started is Simple
1. Call for a consultation or call to set up a service
A member of our team will discuss cremation options, memorabilia options, or viewing/memorial services, explain the process and answer any questions. We can also schedule immediate pick up on this call, if needed.
2. Select memorabilia piece
Simply talk with us and we’ll help you choose your urn and memorabilia piece as well as make your payment over the phone.
3. Select Retrieval Option
Ask us about options that are available for retrieval that best work with your schedule.
The greatest gift we can give them is our love; the greatest gift they leave us is their memory
Our family owned and operated business takes the time to prioritize each animal we service. We take pride in not being corporate owned, as we can go at our own rate and and follow our own values.
We recognize that cremating your pet can be financially difficult. We provide different packages set at different price points that allow each pet owner to be able to afford services.
We guarantee that your pets remains will be returned to you in a timely manner. Our team communicates with the pet owner through the entire process to ensure that there is no confusion or stress. We are available by phone to answer any questions. At the very beginning of the process, we ask pet owners how they would like to be communicated with, and how often to ensure they are feeling as comfortable as possible.
A pet owners biggest fear is allowing a stranger to handle their pet. Our priority is to gain your trust during this stressful time. Updates are available to each pet owner as requested.
FAQ
Will my pet be with other animals when it gets cremated?
We offer several options for cremation.
Private cremation: Your pet is the only animal in the chamber.
Partitioned cremation: Your pet will be in the chamber with other animals, however it will be placed in its own individual tray, and separated from other animals, preventing any ashes from combining. All animals are clearly identified with a stainless steel ID tag.
Communal cremation: More than one animal will be cremated simultaneously. The ashes of different animals will all be mixed. This is a good option if you do not wish to have your ashes back.
What if my pet dies at home?
If you are not able to bring your pet to the vet, or uncomfortable doing so, a team member of CCAC will be happy to pick up your pet from your home. We will transport your pet directly to our facility. Fee: $100.00
How will I know I am getting my pet back?
We have a pet tracking system in place to keep track of each animal. Once the animal has passed, they will receive a unique ID that travels with them from either the vet clinic or your home, until you retrieve your pet. The stainless steel ID tag is also placed with them during the cremation process if you choose to do private or semi-private cremation. They also will have a unique ID card that has all of their information and the pet owners information.
What if I can't pick my pets ashes up right away?
If you have us pick your pet up at your home, we will hold your pets ashes for up to 6 months at our facility. If the pet owner does not collect the remains after 6 months and have not contacted us, we will respectfully scatter them at our garden on our cemetery grounds. If your pet has been picked up from a veterinary clinic, the remains will be dropped off at that location when they are ready. Please contact your veterinarian if you are unable to retrieve your ashes.
Can I buy my own urn for my pets remains?
Yes! If you would like something instead of the urns we offer, you may purchase your own. We will provide you with your pets ashes in a sealed plastic bag if you choose to purchase your own urn. If you already have an urn, and would like to retrieve your pet in that urn, call us to schedule a time for you to drop it off at our facility ahead of time.
What if my vet doesn't use your company and I want CCAC to provide the cremation?
Please consult with your veterinarian. We are always happy to pick up your pet at any clinic. We will communicate with your vet once you have let us know that you would like us to pick it up.
Can I drop my pet off at your facility after it has died?
You may call us to schedule a time to drop off your pet at our facility during business hours.
If you would like to drop your pet off after business hours, we have a secondary location for you to do so. Please contact us for more information.
